Our tours and packages in Argentina

What tours do you sell in Argentina?

Tours and travel packages across Argentina, plus Uruguay and Antarctica. A package puts together the hotel, the excursions, the transfers and, when needed, the domestic flights or bus tickets, so you book everything in one place with one person looking after it. We also sell single excursions and transfers in Argentina if you only need one piece.

Are your tours in Argentina private or in a group?

Most of the excursions in our packages are regular group services: you share the guide and the vehicle with other travellers, which is what keeps the trip affordable. If you prefer, we can quote the same itinerary fully private, with your own guide and vehicle. Just tell us when you write. Airport transfers in our packages are private.

Which destinations in Argentina do you cover?

All of Argentina, plus Uruguay and Antarctica: Iguazú Falls, the Perito Moreno glacier in El Calafate, Ushuaia, Puerto Madryn and its whales, Bariloche and the lake district, the vineyards of Mendoza, Salta and the Northwest, Buenos Aires, Uruguay, and cruises to Antarctica.

Can I change a package or combine several destinations in Argentina?

Yes. Nothing on this site is a closed package: you can add nights, change the hotel, add or remove an excursion and link destinations into one trip, for example Buenos Aires with Iguazú and Patagonia. Tell us what you have in mind and we send you a proposal.

Which hotels do you use in Argentina?

Hotels we know and work with in each destination, in different categories, so you can choose according to your taste and budget. The hotel is always named in the proposal, and you can ask for a different one.

Are flights within Argentina included?

It depends on the package, and each page says so under “Includes”. Packages that start with a flight from Buenos Aires, such as Iguazú in 3 days, include the domestic flights; day tours and packages within one city do not. Long-distance buses are an option on some routes. International flights to Argentina are never included.

What language do the guides speak?

The regular excursions are guided in English and Spanish, with local guides. Our own team works with you in English or Spanish from the first e-mail to the end of the trip. The website is published in other languages so you can read about the trips in yours, but the trip is arranged with us in English or Spanish.

What does “best price guaranteed” mean?

That our rates for tours in Argentina are very competitive compared with the big international operators, without losing service: a local agency in Buenos Aires, a real person answering, and confirmation in writing. If you find the same trip for less, tell us and we look at it.

Booking and payment

How do I book a tour in Argentina with you?

Write to us through the form on any tour page, by e-mail or on WhatsApp, with your dates and the number of travellers. Within 24 hours you receive a proposal with the itinerary, the hotel and the price. If you like it, we send an invoice; when the payment shown on it arrives, we confirm every service in writing and the trip is booked. Everything is handled by e-mail or WhatsApp, without coming to an office.

How can I pay?

With the main credit cards, by bank transfer to our account in the United States (Chase Bank, in the name of 01Argentina Travel Agency LLC), or in USDT, the dollar stablecoin. The invoice shows the amount and the payment details, and you choose the method that suits you best.

Do you accept cryptocurrency?

Yes. We accept payment in USDT (Tether, the dollar-pegged stablecoin) for any tour or travel package in Argentina. Tell us when you request the proposal and we send you the details together with the invoice.

How far in advance should I book?

The earlier the better in high season (mid-December to the end of February, Easter and July), because hotels fill up and domestic flights get more expensive. The rest of the year, a few weeks is usually enough. If your dates are close, write to us anyway: we confirm reservations within 24 hours.

What is your cancellation policy?

Each part of the trip follows its provider’s rule. Land services (hotels, tours, transfers) cancelled more than 2 weeks before the trip are refunded at 90%; between 2 and 1 week, at 60%; less than 7 days before, or no-show, no refund. Domestic flights and ferry tickets are non-refundable under the airlines’ and ferry company’s rules. Long-distance bus tickets are refunded at about 80% if cancelled at least 48 hours before departure. The full text is on our terms and conditions page.

Is 01Argentina a licensed travel agency in Argentina?

Yes. 01Argentina Travel Agency is registered with the Argentine Ministry of Tourism under file No. 17869 and is an ASTA member (ID 900202085). We have been arranging trips to Argentina since 2005 from our own office at 523 San Martín Street, Buenos Aires, and we also operate 01Argentina Travel Agency LLC in Miami. More on our About us page.

Before you travel to Argentina

Do I need a visa for Argentina?

It depends on your nationality, and rules change. Please check with the Argentine consulate in your country before travelling; if you are in doubt, ask us and we will tell you what we know. Remember that a visit to the Brazilian side of Iguazú is a border crossing with its own rules.

Should I buy travel insurance for Argentina?

Yes. Flights and ferries cannot be refunded, so we recommend buying trip-cancellation and medical insurance in your home country before travelling. It covers you if you have to cancel for health or personal reasons, and medical care and lost luggage while in Argentina.

Is Argentina safe for travellers?

Yes, with the same common sense you would use in any large city. On our packages you are met at the airport and accompanied by local guides on the excursions, which removes most of the situations where tourists have problems, and your advisor stays reachable by WhatsApp throughout the trip.

What is the best time to visit Argentina?

It depends on where you go. Iguazú and the Northwest are good all year. Patagonia (El Calafate, Ushuaia, Bariloche) is at its best from November to March, with winter trips built around the snow. Whales are seen in Puerto Madryn roughly from June to December. Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Uruguay are pleasant in spring and autumn and hot in January. Tell us your dates and we tell you what works.

How do I contact you during my trip in Argentina?

By WhatsApp, at the same number you used to book, and by phone in Argentina and the United States. The person who arranged your trip follows it until you are back home.
