The trips our travellers book most often, from three days at the falls to two weeks from the subtropics to Tierra del Fuego. Every one of them can be adjusted to your dates, your pace and your budget.

The short list

Where most travellers begin

Ordered by how often people book them, not by how they photograph. Prices are quoted per trip — tell us your dates and we build it around you.

How many days do you have?

If you have…We'd suggestWhy
Five days or lessIguazú Falls or El CalafateOne destination, done properly. Argentina is too big to see two ends of it in a week.
About a weekBuenos Aires & Iguazú, or Calafate & UshuaiaThe capital plus one wonder, or the two icons of Patagonia together.
Ten or eleven daysThe Best of ArgentinaBuenos Aires, the Perito Moreno Glacier and both sides of Iguazú. The itinerary we send most often.
Two full weeksThe Best of Argentina with UshuaiaThe same trip plus Tierra del Fuego. Getting to the end of the world is not something you do on a second trip.
A first trip, no fixed ideaThe Best of ArgentinaNorth to south, with the internal flights that make it possible. Then we adjust it to your dates.
Wine, mountains or lakesMendoza or BarilocheTwo very different Andes: vineyards facing Aconcagua, or forests and lakes in the south.
A spare day in Buenos AiresColonia del SacramentoAcross the river and back the same day, lunch included. The easiest good day out from the city.
Why book with us

A local agency, not an online marketplace

We plan the trip, not the ticket

Internal flights that connect, excursions that don't collide, transfers timed to departures that change with the season. That coordination is the product.

We tell you what to drop

In ten days you cannot see everything, and we will say so before you pay rather than after. Honest advice has kept this agency going for two decades.

A local agency, not a marketplace

Our office is in Buenos Aires. One dedicated specialist plans your whole trip and answers you directly.

Best price in the market

We regularly compare our rates with the big international operators and confirm we are the most competitive, without cutting service.

Hotels we have actually seen

We inspect what we sell. When we say a hotel is worth the upgrade, it is because someone from the office slept in it.

20+ years and thousands of travellers

A registered agency — File No. 17869, ASTA 900202085 — organising trips across Argentina since 2004.

FAQ

Choosing a tour in Argentina

I have no idea where to start. What do most people book?

For a first trip, the honest answer is Buenos Aires, the Perito Moreno Glacier and Iguazú — a capital, a glacier and a jungle full of waterfalls, which is about as much contrast as one country can offer. That is exactly The Best of Argentina, our most requested itinerary. If you have two full weeks, add Ushuaia.

Are the internal flights included?

In the multi-destination packages, yes. Argentina is the eighth largest country in the world: Iguazú is more than 1,300 km from Buenos Aires and El Calafate more than 2,700 km, so these distances are flown, not driven. What is generally not included is the transfer at the Buenos Aires domestic airport between legs — we always say so on each tour page.

Are the national park entrance fees included?

No. Park fees are paid on site, as with every operator in Argentina, and they change. We tell you the current amounts when we quote so you can budget for them properly rather than discovering them at the gate.

Group or private?

Most of these are group services: you share the guide and the vehicle, which is what keeps a multi-destination trip affordable. Almost all of them can also be quoted fully private, with your own guide and driver in each city. Ask for both and compare — the difference is often smaller than people expect.

When is the best time to travel?

October to April is when the whole country is open, because that is when Patagonia works. December to February is high summer: warmest, busiest, and the one to book earliest. March, April and October are our own favourites — fewer people, everything still running. Iguazú is subtropical and good all year, though January is hot and humid.

Can these itineraries be changed?

Every one of them. They are starting points, not closed packages. Add nights anywhere, swap an excursion, combine two of these tours, upgrade the hotels from comfortable to five star. Tell us your dates and what you are drawn to and we rebuild it around you.

How far ahead should I book?

For December to February, as far ahead as you can: internal flights and small-group activities close first. For the rest of the year a few weeks is usually enough. Send us your dates and we reply with a plan and a free quote within 24 hours, with no obligation.

Good to know

Why these are the ones people book

There is no single right way to see Argentina, but after two decades of organising these trips there are patterns. People who come for a week almost always regret trying to fit in two ends of the country. People who come for two weeks almost never regret adding Ushuaia. And nearly everyone underestimates the distances: Ushuaia is about as far from Iguazú as Madrid is from Moscow.

The tours on this page are the ones our travellers actually book most, which is not the same as the ones with the best photographs. They are here because they work: the flights connect, the excursions do not collide, and the days fall in an order that leaves you rested enough to enjoy the big ones.

If none of them is quite right, that is normal — most of what we sell ends up modified. Tell us your dates, how many of you there are and what pulled you towards Argentina in the first place. Within 24 hours you will have a plan, a free quote and an honest opinion about what will not fit.
