1st Day — arrival in Buenos Aires. A driver from 01argentina travel agency will meet you at the international airport in Buenos Aires and transfer you to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day free to explore or relax. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner and a tango show at the most traditional and spectacular tango house in Buenos Aires, where singing, dancing and a spectacular meal mix within the walls of a classy, seductively beautiful lounge.
2nd Day — Buenos Aires. After breakfast you will take the half day city tour through Buenos Aires, which will allow you to discover a city of strong cultural contrasts, exemplified by the varied architecture of its historical buildings, monuments, museums, theatres and open areas. In the afternoon you will board a cruise to view the riverfront homes and admire the scenery of the Tigre Delta of the Paraná: an exotic subtropical forest formed by thousands of small islands that can only be reached by water.
3rd Day — Buenos Aires to El Calafate. You will begin your tour to El Calafate from Buenos Aires airport, and once you land in El Calafate a tourist guide from 01argentina will be waiting for you with a sign with your last name, to transfer you to your hotel and give you the exact pick-up time for each tour. Check in and enjoy free time.
4th Day — Perito Moreno Glacier and Nautical Safari. Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the full day tour. You will visit one of the greatest marvels of the world: the Perito Moreno Glacier, declared a World Heritage site. You begin at the floating quay of the southern branch of Lago Argentino, riding across the Ice Floe's Canal up to the front of the glacier to see its typical ice slides. Then you come across the footbridges, which are very near to the ice wall. There will be enough time to enjoy the spectacle and to witness the famous ice detachment phenomena, hearing the hollow sounds of ice falling and becoming smaller floating glaciers. There are some experiences that leave marks in our lives, and watching the Perito Moreno is definitely one of them.
5th Day — sailing among the icebergs. Breakfast, and then we pick you up for the full day tour. You head to Punta Bandera pier to take a catamaran on Lago Argentino. First to the northern part of the lake, where you can observe icebergs floating adrift, and then to the Upsala Glacier, with a spectacular ice barrier whose area of 800 square kilometres equals four times the city of Buenos Aires. After passing the front wall of this glacier the ride continues to the highest glacier in the national park, the Spegazzini, where you can also observe the Seco glacier. On the way back you will be able to see Boca del Diablo. Note: the tour can be modified depending on weather conditions and the decision of the captain of the vessel.
6th Day — El Calafate to Ushuaia. You will begin your tour in Ushuaia taking off from El Calafate airport with a direct flight. Once you land, our tourist guide will transfer you to your hotel in Ushuaia.
7th Day — Tierra del Fuego National Park, with trekking and canoe ride. Breakfast and departure on an adventurous full day tour. You will trek for two and a half hours along a path through the most beautiful part of the park, splitting your time between the woods and the shore, observing the massive trees and a great variety of birds native to these woods. After the trek you board very stable canoes and sail to the Beagle Channel, up to Isla de Lobos and Isla Redonda while viewing the imperial cormorants. You disembark on the island for a coffee break in a refuge where the native Yamána people used to live, with a spectacular view of the channel. In the early afternoon you continue paddling to Lapataia Bay to see marine birds, returning to Ushuaia by land at approximately 6 pm. Note: trekking and canoeing in Tierra del Fuego National Park is only available from October to March, due to the weather conditions of our summer. Outside those months the tour is half day and without the trekking and canoeing.
8th Day — Beagle Channel and Ushuaia city tour. Breakfast at the hotel and a half day catamaran trip in the Beagle Channel, departing from the tourist pier. You sail along Isla de los Lobos, Isla de los Pájaros and the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, where you can observe many species of local birds and seals. On one of these islands it is also possible to see pieces of the ship Monte Cervantes, shipwrecked in 1930. On the way back you will have a view of Mount Le Martial and its glacier. In the afternoon we pick you up again for a city tour of Ushuaia: the legendary old Jail of Recidivists, which preserves its impressive architecture and its tough history; the harbour and the Paseo del Centenario, a great viewpoint over the mountain chains; and the Bebán house, bought by catalogue in Sweden in 1911 and for a long time one of the most ambitious houses in Ushuaia. You will also see the first settlers' houses, the city centre and the restricted area of the Naval Base.
9th Day — Ushuaia to Buenos Aires. Breakfast and transfer to the airport. Return to Buenos Aires by plane. Transfer to your hotel in Buenos Aires on your own.
10th Day — Gaucho day in the countryside. Escape the bustling streets of Buenos Aires and enjoy a full day of leisure in the Buenos Aires countryside. You will experience a Gaucho Party, including the typical barbecue, or asado, in the Argentine pampas. Discover the traditional way of life with a horseback ride, a ranch tour, an impressive horsemanship show by the gallant gauchos and a performance of folk song and dance.
11th Day — Buenos Aires to Iguazú. The tour to Iguazú starts departing from the airport in Buenos Aires. Once you arrive our tour guide will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel, and will give you the information for all the exact pick-up times during your stay. You will check in and have free time in the afternoon for exploring the town on your own, for personal activities, or just for relaxing with the hotel facilities such as the swimming pool.
12th Day — the Argentine side. After breakfast you will leave for a full day excursion to the Argentine side of the Iguazú Falls. You will be guided around several paths inside the National Park to witness the incredible view of more than 200 falls, visiting the Green Way, the Upper and Lower Catwalks and the Devil's Throat paths using the forest train. The Great Adventure boat ride is an optional tour inside the park which takes you around the falls — the boat even remains underneath an Iguazú fall. Around 5 pm you will return to the hotel in Puerto Iguazú.
13th Day — the Brazilian side, and back to Buenos Aires. After breakfast we pick you up at your hotel to take you to the Brazilian Iguazú Falls National Park, declared a World Natural Heritage site for being a natural reserve of paramount importance in South America. The main attraction is the contact with the great deal of fauna that can be seen through the light that enters the green roof of the rainforest, as well as the world famous waterfalls that form a circle of 2,700 m of width around the four falls. Torrents of water, whose roar can be heard for miles, plunge some 250 feet down. The panoramic view is unbeatable, since the walkway circuit is directly in front of the waterfalls. At the end of this half day tour you return to the hotel and, at the scheduled time, transfer from hotel to airport. Transfer to your hotel in Buenos Aires on your own.
14th Day — departure. Breakfast. Check-out at noon. Transfer to the international airport at the scheduled time. End of our services.

Buenos Aires, the Perito Moreno Glacier and both sides of Iguazú, in eleven days instead of fourteen. It drops the Tierra del Fuego leg and keeps everything else — the version most first-time visitors take.
All five internal flights are included: Buenos Aires → El Calafate → Ushuaia → Buenos Aires → Iguazú → Buenos Aires. They are short — the longest is about three and a half hours — and we book them in the order that makes the itinerary work. The only thing not included is the transfer at the Buenos Aires domestic airport for the Iguazú and El Calafate legs.
It is the right length for these four destinations. Argentina is the eighth largest country in the world, and Ushuaia is roughly as far from Iguazú as Madrid is from Moscow. Cutting this to ten days would mean dropping a destination rather than shortening the days. If you have less time, ask us about the version without Ushuaia.
They are two different glaciers and two different boats. Day 4 takes you to the Perito Moreno, with the navigation to its front wall and the boardwalks facing the ice. Day 5 is a full day navigation, a longer boat trip north across Lago Argentino to the Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers, which you can only reach by water. Most people expect to be bored by the second and end up preferring it.
No, and we would rather tell you now. Trekking and canoeing in Tierra del Fuego National Park operate from October to March only. Outside those months that day becomes a half day tour of the park without the trek and the canoes. It is a seasonal restriction, not ours — and it is worth knowing before you choose your dates.
No. This itinerary enters five national parks and the fees are paid on site, as with every operator. We tell you the current amounts when we quote, so you can budget for them properly.
As described it is a group service: you share the guide and the vehicle with other travellers, which is what keeps a 14-day itinerary affordable. We can also quote it fully private, with your own guide and driver in each city. Ask for both and compare.
October to April is when the whole itinerary works at its best: Patagonia is open and warm enough, and the Ushuaia trekking and canoe day is running. December to February is high summer — the busiest and the one to book earliest. In winter Patagonia is beautiful but several activities close, and Iguazú is at its most comfortable.
That is the real challenge of this trip. You will go from subtropical Iguazú, hot and humid, to Ushuaia, where it can be cold and windy in any season. Pack layers, a windproof and waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and insect repellent for Iguazú. A small duffel for the internal flights helps — there are luggage limits.
