The tour to Iguazu will begin departing by the Buenos Aires airport. Once you land in the airport of Iguazu a tourist guide from 01argentina will be waiting for you to give you the pickup times for the tours and to transfer you to your Hotel in Puerto Iguazu. In the afternoon our tour guide will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel in order to take the City Tour in Puerto Iguazu
This is a half day City tour that takes to visit the following tourist attractions:
"3 borders landmark", It is the borderline between Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina and the union of two rivers, the Parana and the Iguazu that determines these borderlines. The place is surrounded by a subtropical forest and there is a local fair were handcrafters offer their goods.
"La Aripuca" Eco-Tourism: A kind of theme park attempting to make visitors become aware of the effect of indiscriminate deforestation and take care of the environment, as well as showing what the Misiones rainforest used to be like. The word “Aripuca” derives from the name of a trap made by the Guaraní natives and used to catch animals without hurting them. This agricultural-ecological-tourist project belongs to the Waidelich family, who built a giant Aripuca in order to illustrate the richness of the Misiones forest.
Historic Center: Police Station, Cathedral, San Martin Square, School 615, Puerto Iguazu Port and National Parks Building.
This City tour is also very useful because it avoids getting a visa to enter Brazil since you are taking both tours on the Argentine side.
After breakfast, we will pick you up again in the lobby of your hotel and you will leave for a full day excursion to the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls. You will be guided around several paths inside the National Park to witness the incredible view of the more than 200 falls, visiting the Green Way, the Upper and Lower Catwalk and the Devil’s throat paths using the forest train. What qualifying adjective can one choose to describe Iguazú Falls? Unique, inexplicable, mighty, imposing, majestic, fresh, marvelous or giant may be right but still, these concepts are not wide enough to express what will be in front of our eyes.
During your stay in the Park, you will be able to go along modern footbridges in the most imposing falls of the place. Iguazú National Park, started a new concept of ecologic tourism, providing with an infrastructure of services which is appropriate to the demands of International Tourism but keeping the surrounding landscapes well preserved. For all these reasons the Iguazu Falls were declared Natural Patrimony of Humanity and one of the seven natural wonders of the world. At the end of the tour we will drop you off in your Hotel in Puerto Iguazú. Admiration, contemplation without a break and completely exhausted, are some of the sensations you will keep when you leave this natural park.
