Campanópolis is the life's work of Antonio Campana, a self-made businessman who bought a stretch of degraded land and spent decades turning it into a village — without architects and without plans, building whatever he imagined.

Campana simply built what he pictured, using reclaimed materials rescued from demolished buildings all over Buenos Aires: doors, windows, tiles, ironwork and beams that had already lived one life and were given another. The result is a place that feels invented rather than constructed.
