Due to the increase of Chinese tourists in 2011 worldwide and specifically in Argentina (15% from 2010), the hotel chains that are part of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce China, have decided to adopt certain policies for this year. As an example of this phenomenon are the Chain Starwood Hotel & Resorts Worldwide (which includes the Sheraton Hotel Libertador and Retiro Park Tower) and the Aspen Hotel Chain. Chain Starwood Hotel & Resorts Worldwide has made arrangements and modifications to adequately receive Chinese guests, including the hiring of a janitor Chinese, Chinese TV channels available and the inclusion in the Chinese specialty menu for both breakfast and lunch and dinner. Meanwhile, Aspen Hotel Chain has built its hotels Shao Yao program, which has several amenities for Chinese guests, such as green tea, special breakfast and welcome letter written in Mandarin Chinese.
